the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE).

Founded in 1978 by Professors Herbert L. Abrams and Eberhard Zeitler,

CVIR is the longest-running journal in the field of vascular and interventional radiology.

Editor's Choice: March 2024

TARE and immunotherapy for ICC : Combined analysis from the CIRT and the CIRT-FR multicentre observational studies on 174 patients revealed that a first line treatment with TARE and any systemic treatment appears beneficial in terms of overall survival. Partition model dosimetry is also a predictor of better outcome.  The heterogeneity however, of the real-world study population needs to be taken into account.

CIRSE SOP on Management of Endoleaks Following Endovascular Aneurysm Repair

Endoleaks represent the most common complication after EVAR. Some types are associated with ongoing risk of aneurysm rupture and necessitate long-term surveillance and secondary interventions, and this SOP provides up-to-date recommendations for its safe performance.
