Graduated from Medical School at the Nova Medical School in Lisbon in 2004, and did his PhD on prostatic artery embolisation in 2011. He is currently working in interventional
radiology at Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Lisboa Central, Saint Louis Hospital and CUF Hospital in Lisbon. He is also a professor of anatomy and radiology at the Nova Medical School,
and a CIRSE and an SIR Fellow. His research interests include prostatic and uterine artery embolisation, hepatobiliary and oncology interventions and diabetic foot revascularisation. Served
as a reviewer and associate editor for JVIR from 2017-2020.

London. Her research interests include management of endoleaks, peripheral arterial disease, haemoptysis, major trauma and uterine fibroids. She is Principal Investigator and
Co-Investigator in several clinical trials.
She is currently a member of the CIRSE Scientific Programme Committee, Clinical Services in IR Task Force, and CALCIO trial Steering Committee. Prof. Uberoi's specialisation includes aortic and iliac stenting, SVC stenting, internal iliac artery embolisations, surveillance following EVAR and gastrostomy.

Dr. Stevo Duvnjak serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Vascular Surgery at Rigshospitalet, Denmark. He has completed two specialties, Interventional Radiology and Vascular Surgery, with a focus on aneurysm treatment and a broad spectrum of embolization procedures. Dr. Duvnjak obtained his medical degree from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, in 1999. He subsequently completed residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from 2002 to 2006, with a dedicated focus on Interventional Vascular Radiology and endovascular surgical techniques beginning in 2006. From 2019 to 2024, he undertook comprehensive residency training in Vascular Surgery at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, Denmark, where he currently practices as a consultant vascular surgeon.
Ignacio Díaz-Lorenzo

Dr. Ignacio Díaz-Lorenzo studied medicine at the Universidad de Navarra and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is currently Senior Consultant Vascular and Interventional Radiologist at La Princesa University Hospital and Clínica Universidad de Navarra, in Madrid. He holds EBIR certification, has served as a reviewer for CVIR since 2018 with several outstanding reviewer recognitions, and is also a CIRSE Fellow. His main areas of interest include liver interventional oncology, prostatic and uterine artery embolization, and venous revascularization, with a particular focus in recent years on the management of acute pulmonary embolism.

Prof. José A. Guirola earned his medical degree from the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala and completed his radiology and interventional radiology training at Hospital Clínico Universitario Lozano Blesa in Zaragoza, Spain. He obtained his PhD in 2019, focusing on mechanical thrombectomy for pulmonary embolism. His research interests include embolotherapy, venous interventions, and minimally invasive oncologic treatments. He is Full Professor of Radiology at the University of Zaragoza and Head of the Interventional Radiology Unit at Hospital Clínico Universitario Lozano Blesa. He is a CIRSE Fellow, a member of the CIRSE Scientific Committee, past president of the Scientific Committee of SERVEI (2021–2025), and Secretary of the Board of SIDI (2021–2025).

Anne Marie Cahill is the division chief of pediatric IR at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the endowed chair of interventional radiology. In 2022, she became a full professor of radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania and is currently the president of the Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology. Her interventional interests are broad and include vascular malformation therapy, innovative techniques for IR guided biopsy for precision oncology and endovascular intervention for renovascular hypertension.

Tom Boeken graduated from École Polytechnique (engineering school) in 2011 and earned his Medical Doctor degree with a specialty in Radiology from Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, in 2021. He completed his PhD at École Polytechnique focusing on interventional radiology and predictive modeling for oncological treatments. Tom currently serves as an Assistant Professor in interventional vascular and oncological radiology at Hôpital Européen Georges Pompidou in Paris. His research interests include artificial intelligence in radiology, image-guided oncological interventions, and predictive analytics for treatment response. He joined the editorial board of CVIR in 2023.

He was part of the team that developed the prostatic artery embolisation technique, his greatest contribution to the specialty.
